I also included many helpful practical business concepts I learned while I did an MBA at Columbia University and a Bachelor of Commerce degree at McGill University. Think of this book as a “greatest hits” business summary from my MBA, undergraduate business degree, work experience in consulting, equities, hedge funds, venture capital and starting my own companies. About the Author: Chris Haroun is an award winning business school professor, venture capitalist and the author of "101 Crucial Lessons They Don't Teach You In Business School ". Forbes recently called this book 1 of 6 books that all entrepreneurs must read right now. Chris Haroun has had the opportunity in his career to invest in and meet with the top CEOs, entrepreneurs and investors in the world, including Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Marc Benioff and the CEOs of most large technology companies. Chris is currently a venture capitalist at a prominent San Francisco Bay Area venture capital firm and has previous work experience at Goldman Sachs, hedge fund giant Citadel, consulting firm Accenture and several firms that he has founded. He has successfully raised and has also managed over $1bn in his business/finance career. He has an MBA in Finance from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a major in Management Information Systems and International Business from McGill University where he was awarded a McGill University Dobson Fellowship for student venture capital and business model mentoring. Chris is also a frequent guest lecturer at several Bay Area business schools including Berkeley and Stanford. I wish this book was around when I started out!

Finally, a book that combines real world business tactics with long term principles - from someone with real experience! I've started multiple successful businesses and wish something like this was around ten years ago! Starting your own business is daunting and it is so easy to believe you don't have all the information you need to succeed. This book changes that. I love the fact that Chris not only explains concepts on everything form networking strategies to Venture Capital, he then goes on to provide actual templates and examples to show you exactly what to do, priceless and a huge time saver! His networking tips alone are amazing and I'm shocked that they haven't been covered elsewhere. I have read way too many business books over the years that are all theory and have literally no impact on day-to-day business. This book not only takes away the mystery of a what is covered in an MBA, it gives you the confidence and belief you need to succeed.

Took this by this author on Udemy and it was amazing! An Entire MBA in 1 Book cuts through all the fluff of b-school and breaks down the key concepts of a top 10 MBA program in one book. Haroun emphasizes essential professional and life lessons that most MBA programs do not cover such as the importance of management teams and the role passion plays in forming a successful organization. Highly recommend this book for students and aspiring entrepreneurs seeking a world class business education. I call this my business bible - every key framework that I need to know to understand how to succeed. If you are unsure about spending $185,000 on a top 10 MBA program I recommend getting this book. It's only $99 but has the same intellectual value as that degree - what a steal.

MBA wisdom in a book

A must-read for ambitious business professionals! I graduated from a top MBA, and I think here is THE book that distills MBA wisdoms, delivered in an engaging way. It's a fun read, just like riding on a roller coaster, passing through some of the most practical knowledge/skills taught in B-school: presentation, leadership, VC concepts, financial statement analysis, valuation, consulting frameworks, etc. The content has the right balance of hard vs. soft skills. The tips are very practical and handy, including things like networking template. I would also recommend checking out Chris's courses on Udemy -- he's such an amazing professor and you wouldn't want to miss anything from him!
